Gallery Focus

Island Blue's online gallery has been designed to give new and emerging artists a forum for showcasing their work. We are inviting artists from Vancouver Island to submit up to 3 pieces of their artwork for consideration. Artists chosen will have their artwork showcased in the Feature Gallery for 1 month and the Archive Gallery for up to 1 year.

Island Blue will not be offering the works for sale in the gallery. Any interested parties wishing to purchase any of the artwork must deal with the artists directly.

It is our hope that we can showcase all artworks submitted but that may not be possible depending on the number of submissions we recieve. Our goal is to choose artists that represent all parts of the Island and show the creative diversity the artists in our region display.

How to Submit Your Artwork

Submit up to 3 images of your artwork in a jpg format no larger than 400x400 and no smaller than 200x200 . Also submit a pdf version of your bio and contact information. Send the files to gallery@islandblue.com. You will receive a confirmation that we have received your files but this does not necessarily mean you have been selected for the gallery. We will contact you if you have been chosen and will at that time advise you the dates you will be featured in the gallery. As mentioned, it is our hope that we can showcase all who submit artworks to the gallery.
