It is hard to believe that in a few months it will be a year since we opened our Sidney location of the Art Store. It was several months in the planning as we decided on products, layout, merchandising, displays, and the hiring of staff. It was an exciting time and when we opened the doors, we were very pleased with the store.

Since we opened, the arts community of the Peninsula and Gulf Islands have been more than welcoming. We are constantly hearing how happy people are that we made the decision to open the Art Store in Sidney. And it is still a work in progress. Listening to what the artists want to see in the Art Store is helping us make inventory decisions and providing guidance for the future.

Make sure you stop in on Saturdays - we often have demos in the afternoons, and it's a great way to see new products, watch art techniques or maybe try your hand at something! We have a listing in the store of upcoming demos and we also post them on our website.

We appreciate all the support we have been given in Sidney and look forward to our first anniversary and many more years of helping people on their creative journeys.
