We offer conservation framing for those artworks that require special handling and framing to preserve the integrity of the piece. Island Blue carries a variety of conservation materials, such as museum-quality matting and ultraviolet protective glass. Our framing consultants are well versed in the latest art preservation techniques, and can recommend the best materials to protect your artwork for years to come.

Commercial Framing

Island Blue can provide volume framing services for hotels, developments, show rooms or corporate offices.We have had extensive experience framing recognition awards and certificates for goverment agencies and private companies. Volume pricing is available on a per project basis.

Island Blue works closely with Victoria's design community, interior designers, architects, decorators, artists and galleries and our experience makes us uniquely qualified to deliver exceptional framing services.

Framing Services & Supplies

Island Blue offers basic framing services such as mat cutting, glass cutting and mounting. Our framing department has an extensive range of ready made frames and pre-cut mats in a variety of sizes and colours.

We also carry a range of framing hardware from picture wire to frame clips. If you are interested in cutting your own mats, we carry full size mat boards that includes rag and conservation board. Our Logan mat cutters are highly recommended as they offer quality and reliability.
